CARLOS MATEU ROYO

Carlos Mateu Royo obtained a degree in Energy Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 2015. He carried out the TFG "Design and Optimization of a 200-liter Accumulator for Sanitary Hot Water with Heat Pump", Dirigit per José Miguel Corberán. In 2016, he finished the Master's Degree in Energy Technology for Sustainable Development taught by the Energy Engineering Institute of the UPV. In 2017, he completed his second Master "Sustainable Energy Engineering" at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (Sweden) in a Dual Master program. He obtained the maximum qualification in his master thesis "Field Measurements and Modeling Analysis of CO2 Refrigeration Systems with Integrated Geothermal Storage" Dirigit per Mazyar Karampour.

 

He currently works in the ISTENER group as a temporary researcher at the Universitat Jaume I. His research activity is focused on high temperature heat pumps and Rankine organic cycles (ORC)
